Provenance:
- Cyril Dusek (1881-1924), one of the founders of Czechoslovakia, a close friend of T.G. Masaryk, a prominent politician and journalist, editor of Cas magazine, member of the National Assembly of Czechoslovakia and the so-called Mafia, diplomat (he was the first Czechoslovak ambassador to Switzerland and Egypt). Cyril Dušek bought the painting Still Life with Apples directly from his friend the painter Antonín Slavíček.
