oil, canvas, cardboard Dimensions: 26 x 31 cm dated lower right: 1910 verso a note of authenticity written by the author's son   Provenance: - Cyril Dusek (1881-1924), one of the founders of Czechoslovakia, a close friend of T.G. Masaryk, a prominent politician and journalist, editor of Cas magazine, member of the National Assembly of Czechoslovakia and the so-called Mafia, diplomat (he was the first Czechoslovak ambassador to Switzerland and Egypt). Cyril Dušek bought the painting Still Life with Apples directly from his friend the painter Antonín Slavíček.  - collection of an important Prague collector and banker Bohuslav Dušek - collection of the Bohuslav Dusek family   Consulted with Professor Jaromir Zemina, Dr Karel Srp, Dr Jiri Machalicky, Aneta Kopecka and Vladimir Lekes.   Confirmation of authenticity attached.
