On November 28, 2019, Adolf Loos Apartment and Gallery presented a unique exhibition called "Jakub Schikaneder: Master of moods and melancholic poetry".

One of the most important artists Jakub Schikaneder entered the art world in the last quarter of the 19th century. The Czech painter is renowned for his charming paintings, which are also admired abroad. Melancholic scenes and magic world of fleeting moments of the day are extremely attractive. His name is connected mainly with scenery full of nostalgic atmosphere winter evenings in the streets of old Prague. The works of art by Jakub Schikaneder have received a very favorable response from the public of the 21st century. This exhibition is a celebration of the 95th anniversary of the painter's death.     The exhibited works of art came from private collections. This was an extraordinary opportunity to see important paintings by Jakub Schikaneder. Some exhibited paintings were not publicly presented in the Czech Republic.

Admission 150 CZK / reduced 100 CZK.
